We currently have over 500 mature plants ready for picking this summer. We will be adding to our berry patch every year to try and accommodate the large number of people that want to pick their produce straight from the farm. The strand of blackberry we have decided to plant, is the Kiowa strand developed by the University of Arkansas. The bushes are thorny, but the berries are very flavorful and sweet with large berries averaging around 11 grams/berry with some berries reaching up to 13 grams/berry. The seeds are not too big so they make good jams & jellies. They also store very well and have a long picking season extending up to six weeks long.

We have plans to add other varieties of naturally grown fruits and vegetables in the future. Keep checking back with us for updates!
